The episode opens up with a sick girl named Megu singing in the hospital. Megu seems resigned to an early death, and wants a dark angel to take her away. Her wish seems to be granted when she follows Bara Suishou’s Morse code (using that reflective eyepatch!) to an old church, where she finds a repaired Suigin Tou. They make a contract, but Suigin Tou feels a medium is unnecessary… clearly she doesn’t remember getting owned by Shinku last season.
Later as Suigin Tou wanders through her dream world, memories of battles against Shinku (in either WWI or WWII perhaps?) return to her. Naturally Bara Suishou attacks her, and Suigin Tou is able to power up by using Megu’s energy. Bara Suishou suggests that perhaps Suigin Tou was fixed so that the Alice Game could begin (guess the previous episodes were just the “preseason”). Suigin Tou wonders if Father fixed her, as she rubs her belly and pats her head. She then heads off to visit Shinku’s super-boring world. Shinku is overjoyed to see Suigin Tou and apologizes about that nasty “Junk” comment. Suigin Tou is surprised by this, and later reprimands Megu for lacking self-love. Megu rewards Suigin Tou with some karaoke, and we see Bara Suishou tell Shirosaki that everything is going according to plan.
Well I wasn’t too surprised to see Suigin Tou back, but they didn’t explicitly show if Suigin Tou’s belly was fixed. The suspense is absolutely killing me! Does she have a belly or not?! Megu seems like a perfect match for her, just like Shirosaki and Bara Suishou seem like a good couple (although it’s not confirmed that those two have a contract). Actually, when you think about it, everyone’s master is very much like the doll, kinda like how dogs and owners tend to look alike. Jun seems to be the one exception, but that could just be because he has a whole harem of Rozen Maidens. That’s right, I said “harem”.

Megu’s the most EmoGoth anime character EVER.
Actually, they do look alike. It’s just that all the cross-dressing occurs off-screen. Does Suigin Tou’s master feature a belly or not? Maybe she suffers from bulimia?
Megu does say that “it” is broken. Does she mean her belly button maybe?
Broken? That could be the appendix then. If she donates it, that would be a first step towards a complete belly for Suigin Tou.
A harem…of DEATH!
Btw, I really like how Suigin Tou totally got pwned by Shinku’s sudden sappiness, and had to beat a hasty retreat before she became overcome with mushy feelings as well.
It reminds me of a Southpark episode. Cartman plots this overly convoluted revenge plan towards Stan, only to have Stan apologize to Cartman, thus ruining Cartman’s mood and day.
Shinku is evil.
A harem of dolls. How about the Arabian-esque opening sequence? It all fits together, doesn’t it?
Zomg! Connection… a Harem… and the winner of the Alice game gets to by the only wife!
The opening for both the original and this are awesome though xD
That would make Father the male lead… shudder
Somehow I got received some “Kimi ga Nozomu Eien” vibes from this episode. Maybe Megu is the Haruka in this parallel universe. Was the song at the beginning anything one should know? It sounded somewhat familiar to me at least. It was also funny when the nurse looked on her watch whilst Megu was telling her something. For a moment I expected Madlax to appear in the church but it was just Bara Suishou.
