Marjorie senses that Rammie has set off their trap, and so skates off to kill him. However, Rammie didn’t survive all these years by being slow or stupid, and so he easily evades Marjorie. Completely pissed off, Marjorie has no choice but to return to Satou’s mansion empty-handed. She then proceeds to drink massive quantities of alchohol and pass out. While Marjorie is asleep on the floor, Marco reveals to Satou and Tanaka a disturbing flashback comprised of images of fire, a bloody arm, and a Silver Armor filled creepy crawlies (anyone else getting Full Metal Alchemist vibes here?). Somehow, this flashback is related to Marjorie losing her precious person, but Marjorie mentions that the Tomogara no Guze didn’t exactly kill her precious person. Marco also muses that he’s never heard of a Tomogara possesing a silver flame before. While Marjorie is hung over the next day, she sends out Satou and Tanaka to explore the scene of the battle against Friagne, and they discover Friagne’s Haridan. It’s basically a hack of Google Maps, that shows the location of Torches and humans. Using the Haridan, they are able to deduce how Rammie uses Torch decoys to elude pursuers, and with this knowledge, Marjorie races off to kill Rammie.
On the other side of town, Yuuji and Shana have begun to get along much better. Yuuji learns from Alastor that Flame Hazes were initially human, but that Shana is unique in that she does not hold a grudge against the Tomogara no Guze. Everybody begins calling each other by their names now, and it’s like one big happy family. Even Yuuji’s mom joins in, and agrees to let Shana haze train her son. Hey, they don’t call it Flame Hazing for nothing. After enjoying her first warm bath, and spending quality time with Yuuji, Shana feels totally powered up. With her M.O.E. energy bar filled, Shana is ready to take on Marjorie in round 2. Alastor explains that they must protect Rammie, because if Rammie is killed then all the power of existence that he collected would be released, causing massive destruction. Fortunately, Yuuji’s intuition tells him where the real Rammie is; he then gets a piggyback ride with Shana and they blast off to save the day.
Alright, the story’s finally moving a bit faster, and we are getting more character interaction. It’s not surprising that Flame Hazes need love just like everyone else, and Shana is now totally feeling Yuuji’s mojo (must be the ring). He misses out on the fanservicey lime jello bath (where Shana even squirts herself in the face…), but he does cash in on the moeru piggyback ride. Marjorie plans on dumping her lackeys after the battle with Rammie, but I highly doubt that will happen (unless of course they die). It’s great how everyone accepts Flame Hazes and their battle without any questions or concerns as if it’s completely normal.
I guess I should also mention that book-surfing is totally awesome, in an easily mockable kinda way.

Another great episode. Character development + fanservice + a premonition of something with Shana and Yuuji. ^^ Keisaku and Eita probably accepted the battles since they haven’t really seen one yet, and do not know the horrible truth of using Torches to replace missing things.
