Bleach 55 Bleach 55 Bleach 55

Several key battles get set up in this episode.

  • Sui Fong vs Yoruichi
  • Genryuusai vs Ukitate and Kyouraku

I always find it amusing that the decrepit old guy always uses his age as a disguise for his true power, and Genryuusai is no exception as he flexes his bulging muscles laced with fire for Ukitate and Kyouraku to see. Sui Fong and Yoruichi should be interesting as well since we haven’t seen Yoruichi too much in battle yet, and Sui Fong has a rather fiery attitude. However, I wanted to see a bit more Byakuya vs Ichigo, but I guess they’ll have that epic battle later down the road after these other battles subside.

Old men always seem to own everyone in these shows.

Don’t mess with Yama-jii! He’s really going to give these young ‘uns a good hiding.

Heh, he said he had no trouble catching up with little kids. I can imagine him chasing after Ukitake and Shunsui for scribbling rude words on his bald head while he was napping.

LESBIAN NINJA ACTION!

Hehe, so interesting! Although Yama-jii is certainly powerful, it still seems that Ukitake and Shunsui have an edge, since they were able to easily destroy the giant fire-phoenix-bird from the prior episode. And, tactically speaking, I’m guessing that Yama-jii would be at a loss if he was flanked by both captains, or perhaps if one captain pinned Yama-jii and sacrificed himself in order to allow his counterpart to nail down the phoenix-defeating combo. So many theories! Wooo for speculation ^_^

And is it just me, but are the next-episode previews at the end getting better and better? G-G-Golden! o_O

Old man yama-jii=’old age is not for wussies’ ad campain. YESH. And omg Yourichi/Soi Fong. OTP like woah. (Okay, no, Gin/Kira is my otp but… it’s tied for second!) The ep. prewiews are getting better, but the actual episodes? BLEAGH.

How many Bleach characters does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

Two, but it’ll take six episodes and there’ll be at least four flashbacks. hahaha.
