Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan Review

Kabitzin on October 15, 2005 · in Bokusatsu Tenshi,Reviews

I know it’s unfair to expect too much from such a short series, but I would have liked Bokusatsu Tenshi a lot more if it had been able to maintain its high concentration of OMFGWTFBBQ moments throughout all 8 episodes. The production values were quite high, and I enjoyed the art style and the music. The characters were also reasonably interesting, although nothing ever became of the Shizuki-Sakura connection, to my disappointment. The gore began to get really tiresome towards the end, and I fast forwarded through most of the extraneous killing scenes and revivals. Overall, I’d say that Bokusatsu Tenshi is an interesting and unique series, but not one that I’d consider required viewing. I give it an average rating, just because the weirdness was so refreshing.

Kabitzin’s Rating: 3/5
