It’s another wacky day, as Dokuro starts her own Wood Glue Club, where you watch white wood glue dry and turn transparent. After some dodgeball (played with heavy basketballs T__T) and manipulated Ouji, the standard chaos is interrupted when a Beatrix-lookalike arrives on the scene. It’s Dokuro’s little sister (a very mature 9-year-old), Zakuro, who’s here to bring Dokuro back to the future. Armed with her Murderous Wet Towel, Eckilsax, Zakuro proves to be more than a match for Dokuro, but Dokuro is able to escape. Shizuki avoids confessing yet again, and tells Sakura to go after Dokuro.
Sakura returns home to find Dokuro, but they are followed by Zakuro. Zakuro captures them both, and tries to force Sakura to say that he wants Dokuro to return to the future. Sakura, however, wants Dokuro to stay and even promises to become “Hard Gay” for her. None of this matters, and so Zakuro disappears with Dokuro in tow.
Time passes calmly and peacefully, but Sakura feels like he is in a dream world. His life is thrown back into chaos one afternoon when he is ambushed by Sabato, who informs him that Dokuro is pissed and causing havoc in the future. Sabato then does everyone a favor by tricking Zakuro into going to North Korea to search for the pair. Sakura returns home to find Dokuro, and everything ends happily, although not before we get one final mauling, and a very Gundam-esque revival.
So ends Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan, a rather strange mix of fanservice, gore, and randomness. In the end, not much was answered, and the final episode was fairly boring. Episode 7 did have some of that enjoyable weirdness that appeared in episodes 1-4, but overall the series ended with a whimper. I enjoyed the introduction of Zakuro, and the news clips after the final ED were funny.

The final episode started with splatter overkill which I really enjoyed – think of scene with the jammed excaliblog. The “Wood Glue” thing was pretty funny – not the thing itself – but rather because Dokuro was so serious about it. Introducing Zakuro looked interesting at first but the second half was really a let-down. I expected at least some “Hand over that shiny halo” but it never happened and Zakuro’s trousers weren’t quite sexy either.
Oh, by the way, those balls were gymnastic balls, not basketballs in my opinion. Finally, I know what those are good for.
Yeah,Dokuro-chan’s ending wasn’t really good. I’d almost thought they were trying to spoof something to reassure myself
. But still the 1st half had it’s moments. And the “Akihabara Moé Moé Operation” had me in stitches. :lol.
To be honest, I kinda find it interesting how wood glue turns transparent too… Maybe I should join that club. The only spoof I could find was the final revival scene, and Zakuro wasn’t as well-utilized as she could have been. Those baggy trousers were awful!
Oh, come on, you would go hard gay for Dokuro too. ^^
haha, yeah right. I would have to say, Ayako-sama was wasted in this series. She voices Shizuki, but…. look who did he end up with.
Too bad if you went hard gay it would defeat the whole purpose!
There was a little spoof in the gym storage room. In the background you can see torture devices. Dunno, but if Dokuro is only interested in torturing, being “hard gay” would be an advantage for her because Sakura wouldn’t mess around with Shizuki.
