Bleach 33

I don’t know if this episode is a filler or not, but this is episode comes in at a pretty good time to give some good comic relief from the tension in Death God land. Karin and Yuzu were walking down the street and out of the sky comes an orange cat with green eyes into Yuzu’s arms. Karin didn’t think too much of the situation, but Yuzu seemed to have recognized the cat from somewhere before. The pair continued their walk back home only to meet up with Don Kanoji, Mr. “SPIRITS ARE ALWAYS WITH YOOOOOU!!!!1111″, in front of their house. Kanoji said he had some time off and was trying to find Ichigo, but Karin informed that Ichigo was gone at the moment.

Out of no where, some low level Hollows fly from the sky to attack the three. Kanoji fires off a pretty slow and lame fireball which the Hollows dodge easily, but Ururu and Jinta come around and save the group from the attack. Kanoji, seeing the “talent” that surrounds him, then goes spastic and proclaims that the he and the children should combine their powers to become the “Karakura Supah Heros!”, which sets Jinta and Karen off against each other to see who becomes the “red” person, which apparently is the child star.

Without boring you with too much of the details, definitely check out this episode for some good laughs :) This filler ranks up there right next to the Golden Filler episode from Full Metal Alchemist :P

Whoa, really? I didn’t think anything could match FMA’s hilarious filler — I’ll have to check this episode out.

I vaguely remember something like this in the manga, about deciding which one gets to be the red ranger – but it wasn’t part of the main storyline of course.

yes, as Ender has mention part of this filler comes from the omake/in-between pages of the manga. The cat was a anime original but thought worked well. Karakura Lion Jet~! LMAO… almost fell out of my chair when that happened!
