With the finals all set matching Kazuma against Shigeru, Yukino reflects back on the path that Kazuma took to get to the finals, which basically goes through all the breads Kazuma came up with along the way and the great reactions that Ryou performed while eating those breads. At stake in the final: 1 million yen, an internship abroad at France, and a chance to work in the main Pantasia store. Also, Ryou announced that there would be a 3rd place bake-off between Kawachi and Suwabara with prizes just as impressive: 300,000 yen, an internship abroad in France, and a chance to apply for employment in the main store. Upon hearing this, Kawachi instantly becomes excited once again, but he also realizes that his baking prowess may not be enough to overcome Suwabara. Ken steps in and hands Kawachi a card, and Ken exclaimed to Kawachi that he learned the most important thing about bread at this location.
Meanwhile, Yukino and Shigeru discuss their approach to the finals. Shigeru insisted to Yukino that she does not interfere with the final, much to Yukino’s disgust. However, Shigeru, along with having Solar Hands, seems to have another yeast in research up his sleeve that he will reveal in the finals. After the two disband, Yukino comes upon Kazuma’s Petalite board and smashes it to pieces, leaving Kazuma without his one trump card.
Overall, not much takes place during this episode as we get a flashback of Kazuma’s road to victory and get an overview of what Kazuma is up against in the final. Hopefully, this is just build up for more exciting things to come, and it looks as if the odds are stacked against Kazuma once again!

If I were Yukino I would have messed with the board so that Kazuma wouldn’t realize anything was wrong until it was too late. Like smear junk on it. I guess she let her evil side get the best of her.
Tsukino getting palmed reminds me of Lala with Tenma and Imadori in School Rumble!
