Kidomaru and Neji battle to the death in the first one hour Naruto special of 2005! Although there is much action to be found in this episode, I couldn’t help but be kind of miffed by all the analysis that Kidomaru does trying analyze Neji’s attacks. Seriously, given all the time he was thinking to himself, Neji could probably have easily jumped up and pwned him. Also, the knockout blow that Neji gives Kidomaru in level 2 form seemed kind of, well, underwhelming too. Kidomaru also continued to analyze himself as he feel after taking the blew as if he was unaffected. Ah wells…guess you can’t have everything 
But it was kind of funny to hear all those punching sound effects as Neji punched away all those spiders coming at him 
Also, we get to see that Neji did indeed improve his abilities and his outlook on life after his loss to Naruto in the Chounin fight. So overall, if you take out all the expository comments by Kidomaru, this makes for a decent 1 hour episode

I also thought it was really cheap how they covered up Neji’s first 64-hit combo by moving the camera behind a tree

Hakke Rokujyuu Yonshou is just Neji whacking all the opponent’s tenketsus. Maybe they just moved it behind a tree to show its destructive power. XD
If you dont mind me say so, that’s how the attack is done in the manga. The anime just followed how the manga displayed that attack
