I don’t know if anyone has been keeping up with this (I certainly haven’t) but there is a CG Final Fantasy movie scheduled to be released sometime in the summer of 2005 in Japan. Here’s a link to the trailer that I found in the Anandtech forums for anyone who’s interested in looking.
Via suggestion from one of my OSU friends, I downloaded and watched this anime called Appleseed, and I must say that it’s one of the best animated animes I have ever seen with CG. So definately check it out if any of you get the chance

You’re talking about the 2004 remake of Appleseed, right? I saw that the other day too; Great animation and action scenes, but the story was a bit hokey at times.
FFVII AC looks pretty pimp. Now that the 3rd trailer recently came out, I can’t wait for this OAV/movie to come out!

now i know of the new ff-VII game being relesed but are they also making a movie of it as well, if so i really think they should make ff-VIII movie instead now thats the best final fantasy game to me.
