Rukia finds herself low on soma to continue on in her Faux body, so she visits her local Death God pharmacy to pick up some goods to keep herself going. She also picks up some “soul candy”, which allows Ichigo to change to Death God form whenever Rukia doesn’t have her glove of death around. Unfortunately, Rukia is given the wrong goods, and Ichigo’s body gets taken over by a modified soul who has uber strength and battousai-like speedu. The modified souls were originally created by the Death Gods to use soul-less bodies to help with Hollows, but due to ethics, they were disposed off. With the rampant but carefree modified soul running loose, Ichigo and Rukia turn their energies to capturing it. But the highlight of the episode had to be Rukia’s flip-book drawings
