The battle between Ed and the homunculi begins as he attempts to take down Sloth. However, this proves to be a tough battle as Al is still convinced that Sloth is somehow still their mother. Al and Lust had Sloth all ready to be vanquished on a transmutation circle, but Al steps in and tosses away the box of remains of his mother. While Sloth recovers, Wrath jumps in and battles to save Sloth, whom he views as his mother. From there, Lust attempts to take down Wrath while Ed tries once again to vanquish Sloth.

The part in this episode where Ed and Al slammed together the two desks in order to make a transmutation circle was awesome!
It’s sad to see that Lust died, though — she was probably the most interesting of the homunculi, since the rest are rather clear-cut…
Well, Lust was the first to really deviate from Dante’s plans, and she has had the most exposure of all the Homunculi, so it’s no surprise she’s the most interesting
