Not too much going on in the 99th installment of Naruto. Lee is bothered by the fact that his only chance to come back as a Ninja has a 50% chance of failure, but he deeply wants to prove that a ninja can succeed on Taijutsu alone. Meanwhile, Konohamaru locks himself in the 3rd Hokage’s study room in protest/fear that the village of Konoha would likely forget about his grandfather if he relinquishes the room.
However, Tsunade begins to realize the responsibilities that come from being the Hokage of the village, and after seeing Lee pick off the flower petals while standing on the bridge, she goes back to study up on cell regeneration in hope of improving the chances of Lee’s survival of the surgery.
