I haven’t watched much Madlax this month, although I’ve heard the last three episodes were very good. I guess I just wasn’t in a Madlaxian kinda mood. Just in case you’re wondering why I haven’t included it on this month’s list. There were some good episodes out this month though!
1) Full Metal Alchemist: I wanted to give the spot to Kaleido Star, but I couldn’t with the way FMA has been completely rocking my socks this month.
2) Kaleido Star: Thank goodness Freedom Rise has started with their faster subbings! I’m slowly getting around to posting on this under-appreciated series.
3) Samurai 7: Every time they put out an awesome episode, the petty part of me wants to stick it to the people who immediately dismissed this series after the first episode (which wasn’t even a bad episode!).
4) Samurai Champloo: Mugen and Jin are awesome enough to cover for Fuu’s boring undeveloped sunflower samurai quest.
5) Bakuretsu Tenshi: Those samurai episodes were kinda dumb, but BakuTen’s rebound with Kyohei’s friend from middle school who is now a cyborg was totally sweet!
Rising – Dear Boys: Seriously, I like it…
Falling – N/A: August was a pretty good month of anime overall.
