Madlax explains that she named herself Madlax because it was the only word she remembered from her childhood. Interesting, since something similar happened to Margaret as well. Ever since her first Elda Taluta experience, Madlax has been thinking about her past (in an endless Noir-esque stream of chibi-flashbacks). Instead of letting it just sit, she decides to take another round of Elda Taluta’s for the team, in order to learn more about her past. This results in a funky vision where she meets up with creepy girl, Reticia, and learns that everything about her own life is fake. Reticia’s message seems in keeping with what Friday-Monday says about Madlax being special for having withstood “the purification of Farstari and recovered from it”. However, Madlax isn’t the only one who’s affected by the latest Elda Taluta mind rocking…
So did you see those Battousai like eye-color changes that Margaret exhibited? She is going to flip out and kill someone any minute now. Her normal eye color is blue, but it’s been 15 episodes and she’s getting mad she still hasn’t met Madlax in person! Speaking of eyes, I don’t know who Elinor thinks will be fooled by her horrific disguise; she really needs to get out more. Her expectations of human intelligence have clearly been diminished from living so long with Margaret. Also, I’m really glad that Madlax’s real name isn’t actually “Madlax”. I look forward to learning her true name, and finding out the definition of “Madlax”. Is it a noun? An adjective (Yo, that last episode was sooooo Madlax!)? A verb? Can you “Madlax” someone? Bee Train, please use the word “Madlax” in a sentence for me!
Sometimes I feel like Madlax has become a big set of countdowns for me. The two major ones are 1) The countdown until Bee Train finally reveals WTH is going on, and 2) The countdown until Margaret releases her pent up rage and just slaughters all the bad guys with her bare hands or something.

Margaret’s just about ready to snap. I predict in two episodes she will go off. This show is so demented and I am utterly hooked on it!

Without posting any spoilers – I’ve seen up to Episode 17 and I was wrong.
I’m really worried about Vanessa’s longevity in the series. A lot of people at some Madlax forum threads have predicted V would die, but I really hope not… What does anyone else think about this? IMHO, I think if anyone was to die first, it may very well be Rimelda, cause she’s closest to Enfan (danger), and she’s like Chloe, who dies in the later part of Noir… *lol, not that I think the story is a duplicate of Noir or anything…*
Limelda might sacrify herself after she’s realized she’s working on the wrong side but I don’t see why Vanessa should die. Actually I only care about Madlax, Margaret and Elinor. I don’t think Vanessa is a very likeable character.
I just found out today that Madlax = Mad Relax.

It’s actually “Madrax” if you listen carefully but rax is Engrish for rex which means king. (ratin desu yo!)
So in fact it’s all about a mad king. Or something like that. Maybe I should have put a spoiler tag somewhere.
