Rosette and Chrno have been missing since the last battle with Aion, but things have not calmed down. Several fanatics are still committing crime in the name of the Saint, and everyone fears that the era is heading towards chaos. Remington has quit being an angel and moans about his sins (what is he talking about???), and Joshua has the mind of a 12 year old. It’s clear pretty early on that this is not going to be a happy ending. When we finally do see Rosette and Chrno, it seems that they’ve been hiding out in a shanty in the countryside. It’s hinted that they had a happy half year together, but Rosette’s time is almost up (and by extension, Chrno’s). Both are in bad shape as Rosette’s stigmata are still somewhat visible, and Chrno’s got old unhealed wounds as well as bags under his eyes. I felt so bad for Rosette, because with all the events that occur in the series, it’s easy to forget that she is only 16 years old. At the very least, it seems that their final moments are peaceful. Also, in answer to Sister Kate’s touching question, it seems that Rosette is not doomed to eternity in hell for hanging out with Chrno (phew!). Later, Azmaria decides to strive to be like Rosette. However, much much later we see that Aion seems to still be alive and well. Remington, on the other hand, has really let himself go.
Some questions were answered, but overall the ending was ambiguous and open-ended. In fact, I am willing to bet that there will be a sequel, as it’s mentioned that another person with stigmata has appeared. Will Azmaria be featured? Will she make a contract with a demon? Will Aion get a whole new harem of desperate women? Despite my initial trepidations, the ending was quite good, and I would definitely check out any sequels that may or may not come out.

Um, hi i really want to let you know that i don’t think aion has fangirls…. i think chrno has fangirls!!!!!!!!!!!! in fact i’m one of them! anywho! yeah i think that there will be a sequal but i don’t want azmaria to be the star in fact i don’t really like her. i think that Rosette and chrno should be reincarnated and fight aion and finally end his rain. you know, i kinda guessed aion wouldn’t die……DIE AION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes Chrno does rock I am a fangirl for his as well, but I would hate it if he were to get reincarnated I hate when they bring people back to life in any way shape or form, unless it is in Immortal Rain where Yuca’s reincarnations are needed for the story, and so on and so forth. I also love Az, but then again I wouldn’t want her to be the main character but I wouldn’t mind but no one could ever replace Chrno and Rosette!
I also really like Azmaria and wouldn’t mind her being the main character. She was timid and shy at first, but she’s much bolder now. Also she has a kind heart and would do anything for anyone. I would love a second season,but what would it be about? You can’t have Chrono Crusade without Chrono. I suppose you could have Azmaria make a contract with a different devil and fight Aion, but then it would kind of be a repeat of the first season.
I agree with Jackie. I hate people being reincarnated. Its not really the same person. Things could never be the same after death. But yet they aren’t a new person either. Do you guys really think its even remotely possible for there to be a 2nd season of CC?
I kinda doubt it, but an OVA would be nice. However, I can’t really think of a way that Azmaria would put an end to Aion without Chrno. If Aion is alive, it’s also possible that Chrno is not truly dead. I should probably just catch up on the manga and see how they decide to end things.
I really think that Chrno Crusade final episode was very, very sad..

You have a good point Kabitzin. Azmaria would have a hard time taking Aion down. Her powers of healing aren’t really helful in a battle. Since her powers have to be distributed equally she’d be healing her enemies along with herself. Then it would just be like the battle started all over again, exceopt worse. Azmaria can’t use tremendous healing powers without collasping so she’d have no fight left.
Granted Azmaria has other tools she can use in a fight besides her powers. Its called a gun. But as we’ve had numerous experiences with Aion can not be defeated by some sacrids or even a gosple.
Maybe she could team up with her other apostles and do something, but I’m not sure.
In my last entry I talked about Azmaria making a contract with a different devil, but I don’t think that will happen. It would be too much like she’s taking Rosette’s place. Rosette is Rosette. Azmaria must beher own person.
So, Chrono Crusade you are emotional with the series too? I haven’t seen the last episode yet or the last 3 episodes for that matter. I don’t have the anime channel so I have to buy all the DVDS as they come out. (What a bother!) And the last DVD still hasn’t come out yet. (It will on August 2nd! I’ll be the 1st one in the stores. I love the whole series and I watch every DVD I own again and again!)
Anyway don’t feel bad Chrono Crusade. I know for a fact that I will cry so hard on episode 24 and 22. (Satella’s my favorite character! How can they kill her off so soon?!)
I know that I’ll cry, because I even cried when Mary Magdalene died. I couldn’t help it. Her deaath was so sad. Chrono gave up everything to protect her and yet he was the one who destroyed her in the end. And he was so heart broken. And then with their blood mingling and being one! That was priceless. Anyway I’m getting off topic. I have to know Chrono Crusade, did you just see the last episode? Since you logged in here fairly recently and are still emotional I’m guessing you just got the DVD. Maybe where you are it comes out sooner. So please tell me when you saw it.
Oh, and about that emotional comment forget it. Knowing me I’ll still be sad a year after all the main characters died. But that’s just me.
Okay, now I have to ask a question that’s been troubling me. Well not as much since episode 21! (Just got it 2 weeks ago!) Why is Azmaria still alive?
All of her close friends died,but yet she lives on. All of them made a promise to go together. They’re a team. I say it should be all of them or none of them. I’m almost a little angry at Azmaria for living. How do you guys feel?
Episode 21 easied me a little about the situation. Azmaria asked Satella if it was okay to live. And I don’t know I just felt easier. Azmaria doesn’t seem afraid to die for what she believes in. And Satella did want her to live. Still Azmaria should not live when they die. Especially since every single one of her friends have devoted their lives (particularly Satella) to protecting her.
I know tha Azmaria shouldn’t slit her own throat, but maybe it would be better if she did. It would show true devotion.
After seeing the last DVD I need to make a comment to you, Taylor Sopko. At first I didn’t agree with you about Aion. I thought he was a really cool evil character. I hated what he did to our heroes, but you just had to admire his cunning and sees all tells none aditude. He was always so mysterious, but he always got what he wanted. He was so gifted at using everyone to his advantage which I know is bad, but is also cool.
Aion was able to get people to do whatever he wanted. He broke the main characters spirits completely on many occasions. And the thing that really gets me is that most of the time he’s telling the truth. He twists words and makes you think untrue thoughts, but his exact words mostly are not lies. Sometimes he goes overboard and slips in a lie, but generally is honest. I think that is so cool.
I did like Aion until episode 20. I thought that though he used his enemies that he was true to his friends. I thought he really shared a dream with the other sinners and wanted to be with them. I thought he was evil just outside his little ‘family’. I mean he actually seemed happy and…human when he was around Joshua and Fiore. He seemed so happily.
I must say that I was thourougly disappointed in Aion when he calmly dismissed Joshua and the sinners. “The apostles have served their purpose. As have the other sinners. It’s just you and me now.” I don’t like Aion half as much anymore. But still, he’s too cool to dismiss. He’s a bit cold, but I can’t hate him.
I don’t think that Chrono is alive just because Aion is. Rosette died and Chrono swore he would die with her. He must be dead.
Oh, and this isn’t exactly about the last episode, but I just have to say one thing about Rosette. Man, did she give in easily. One minute she was biting Aions hand(I was cheering go Rosete, go!) and then the next she is pledging eternal loyalty to him (NO!).
Anyway this is definitely an awesome series with a powerful conclusion. Even though most of the main characters died, I really hope that there is a second series.
Hey, JEL again. I loved the last episode, but it was so sad! Joshua will never remember his sister and will be stuck with the mind of a 12 year-old forever. Remington is doomed to live for a while with “an even greater cross to bare”. He looks pretty bad after Rosette and Chrono die. And Sister Kate and Father Remington never get together! They’re perfect for each other! I was happy that they hinted on their feelings, but still they’re separate.
I was happy to hear that Rosette was not doomed to hell.(I kind of expected that though.) And I’m sure that if Rosette is in heaven than so is Chrono. They’ll be reunited with Satella! Yay! Now, I know that I already mention this in the episode 21 comments, but since most of you probably didn’t read it, I’ll touch on it briefly.
I still wonder that if Chrono goes to heaven who he will pick. Aion pointed out that Chrono still has feelings for Magdalene, but he loves Rosette too. In heaven both will be there so who shall he choose. He can’t have the same relationship with both and they truly are different people. To find out why check out episode 21 chatroom. I explain it much more thouroughly there. But I’m getting off topic so I’ll head back to the last episode.
I loved how Azmaria is determined to be a sister like Rosette. I was sad that she didn’t get her spiritual power back, but maybe it will come back one day. I loved how she asked Rosette, Chrono, and Satella to watch after her. Okay she didn’t say Satella, but she was thinking it. It’s just that she was at Rosette’s and Chrono’s graves and was following in their footsteps, but she wansts Satella to watch after her too. She just said watch over me. She didn’t say who she was talking too.
And I believe that Azmaria is closer to Satella. They were a great 4some, but when they broke into groups(like at the carnival and such) Azmaria and Satella were always paired together. And she prayed for Satella’s happiness and no one else’s. And it was Satella who hugged her and encouraged her to keep living after the atonement ceremony. And she said her wings call forth sorrow. NO one who’s been a part of her life could ever find happiness. And Satella died first. That’s a huge sign. In her lesson she said she was getting stronger for Satella with Rosette, Chrono, Steiner, and Joshua.
Anyway I loved how she had the pocket watch and the photograph. I have a feeling that she has Satella’s jewels as well. She doesn’t know how to summon them, but I believe she has them for sentimental value.
Oh, and I loved how she visited the Seventh Bell children. I was wondering why the children weren’t more upset about Rosette and Joshua. Miss Jean did say that since they were reawakened it was exactly as before.
Maybe she was exaggerating. Things could never be exactly the same without Rosette and Joshua. Still I was happy that the children wanted to help Joshua. I hope they will. Maybe their influence will even get Joshua to remember who he is.
I touched on this briefly on the last episode summary, but I feel I have to state it again. Maybe in even greater detail. Why did Rosette and Chrono abandon everyone?! I really can understand how they want to spend some time alone(just the 2 of them), but that doesn’t justify not even saying goodbye. People were worried sick over them. Some feared that they were dea.
I see why they couldn’t call anyone or maybe even say a verbal goodbye. If they gave one phone call from their location people would swarm the place. They wouldn’t be left alone. Rosette is the holy woman after all and they wouldn’t want her to waste her life a way in a town house in the middle of nowhere. As for Chrono…Well if other people who weren’t in the Magdalene Order found him then their would be serious problems. Like when he started the mob that destroyed the San Francisco order.
And if they gave a verbal goodbye people would try to talk them out of leaving or they’d at least pay very close attention to what direction they were heading. They could probably deduce their whearabouts. But come on! All that was neccessary was a letter with 2 words on it. We’re alive. A more detailed and heart felt letter explaining their circumstances would be nice, but even those two words would have made a world of difference.
And why didn’t they visit the people in the order? Azmaria fought alongside Rosette and Chrono. Plus Mary, Claire, and Anne helped them out several times. And Sister Kate was like a mother figure to Rosette. Couldn’t they have spared 1 lousy visit in 6 months?
Okay, okay I know that they wanted to spend some times by their selves, but couldn’t they have done something more? Even if they left a letter at their house and never mailed it people would feel better when their location was discovered. And 6 months is a long time alone.
There must have been some way for them to make a visit without their location being discovered. They really should have tried harder. They could possibly found a secret mail system so that they could keep in touch. Anyhow I was happy that Rosette was wearing Satella’s clothes. I think it made her feel closer to Satella. I wonder if Satella was alive if she would have come back.
Well if Satella were alive she’d see her in the first place. She always fought by their sides no matter what so she would have gone to face Aion. She could have summoned beasts to help Chrono out so maybe he wouldn’t have even had to transform into his true form. Then I guess they could have stuck together.
I’m kind of upset that Azmaria didn’t go to help Chrono. I know that it was Chrono’s fight but what happened to we’re the same? She could have done something. She couldn’t have fought, but her words have a strong power. And I don’t mean in the spiritual way. She could have tried to bring Rosette back without that stigmata attack. And she could have cared for Rosette while Chrono was fighting. Well now that she’s a sister I’m sure that will change.
Oh, and about Claire, Anne, and Mary why did they split up? Aren’t they supposed to be a team? Well at least Anne and Mary stick together. And they were reunited for Rosette’s death.
I do really hope that their is a second season. You guys have given me hope. Still there were several more lines in the ending song and they even wrote the end. Plus there was no preview for a new episode. And even the preview for the 24th episdoe said,”It’s the last episode”. I agree that the ending was ambiguous(I was so mad when they didn’t tell us who had stigmata!), but do you guys really think there could be a second season without Rosette, Chrono, and Satella? It could never be the same without them. I’ve grown to really care a bout these characters(especially Satella).
Still the the ends could just mean the end of the first series. Well, I guess we’ll just have to see what happens. If anyone finds out anything then please post it here.
Oh and I’m pondering about the sinners. Do you think they’ll be doomed to hell? Okay, I know that seems like a really stupid question, but they didn’t seem too bad. It’s just that I’ve grown to really like Shader. She rocks! And they did think that what they were doing was right. If they thought it was evil remains to be seen. Aion certainly knew it, but Chrono didn’t so maybe neither did they others. They might have thought that it was just the cost for freedom and that things would be better in the end. Okay, wishful thinking, but Chrono thought it. Anyhow they were truly devoted to the plan. All of the sinners even died for it. Aion’s most likely alive so he won’t have to pay for his crimes, but the others?
I really would like Shader to go to heaven. Chrono wouldn’t be upset, but I don’t think Satella would take it too well. Still Fiore was a sinner and we get the feeling that she went to heaven. But I suppose that’s different. She was forced to do it by magic. And still she was so kind hearted too Joshua. And her powers were awesome. Fiore’s cool! I was so happy that she remembered Satella right before she died! Strong feelins overcame her destiny thanks to Satella. Yay!
Okay, I’ll really tarying from the topic. Sorry I’m just reflecting the end of the season. Speaking of devils I wonder what happens to Duffo and the others. Devils made a contract with God when they were driven out of heaven. They did God’s bidding so does that mean that when they die they go to heaven? Still obviously some of the devils that weren’t sinners that Rosette fought against are doomed to hell. Leraije definitely is in trouble. Hmmm…so I was just pondering if other good demons go to heaven. If Chrono does maybe..
Good demons! Ha! I still love that. It’s such a paradox. Anyway if anyone has an answer or just some thought about what I’ve said please respond. I’d like to get someone else’s viewpoint.

Why did Rosette have to die?? I couldn’t sleep the night I watched the last episode. The scene where she told Chrno she was afraid of dying really broke my heart. I mean the fact that she IS afraid of death reflects reality and I think it also show how human she is. And then she was hugging Chrno in the sunset and her eyes were slowly closing. Oh my, I could have cried. One question though, why didn’t she spend time with her brother after Chrno’s final battle with Aion? Didn’t she promise she’d take care of her brother no matter what? But then again, it’d be better if she spend the last of her days with Chrno. After all, this is a love story. Anyway, the whole anime was fantastic and I really really wished there’d be a second season.
well what can say the first half of the season was better by the second half it got to morbid mostly because i knew what was coming in the last episode. The first half was like the x-files new case’s, kicking devil butt, But at the same time searching for her brother. Its is a great Series but that being said, The ending was like there deaths (Chrno and Rosette) was for nothing. If they bring back Aion (remember he was defeated) there going to bring back the others it is an anime after all.The creator of the series himself said in an interview that the characters are still living in his head…You may ask yourself how would they bring back the dead? As angles Like Remington? When dealing with spiritual and divine powers anything is possible.Bring them to the future of 1981 right where the last episode left of so the can take out Aion for good. This is just my thoughts as the series just didnt feel complete.
But i would rather leave it as it is then to have new characters because Chrno Crusade is not Chrno Crusade without CHrno, and Chrno is not himself without Rosette……
Hmm. I know some people don’t like the ending because Chrno and Rosette died. But I think that’s a rather shallow reason to dislike a wonderfully good ending like that! Sure it might not be happy but in a way it is sorta. They wanted to be together and they were together until death came along and they probably would continue being together later on. And it’s also a good thing that they died before the final prophecy came true. And also, about the Aion thing. Aion isn’t really alive really. But as long as there’s desire in humans and sins and evil and all that stuff then Aion (in this case, he is really just a symbol for evil) will continue to thrive and be there.

this is my favorite manga series. I was realy sad when chrono and rosette died in the last episode. The Daisuke Moriyama guy better have a second series or im gonna be f’en pissed. What am i gonna watch? and he betta not put azmaria as the main character and any of you people who think she should, should be hit for even thinking that. What should happen is chrono and rosette should have left a kid, Chrono jr. who the magdeline order adopted or something. He would be half human and half devel. Azmaria would be the mom and he should have a reincarnation of rosette and everything happens over again except for the contract part. Or everyone could come back to life that works to. An even better idea would be to just start the story over again but diFfrent like in tenchi muyo.
i fell in love with this anime on like the 2nd ep. just before i was watching some amv’s for chrno crusade & i was watching rosette & chrno die. oh gawd.. that was depressing. i was *sniffle sniffle tear* but newaiis, i srta felt that they died a somewht pointless death. aion was still alive and well and the only thought that came through my head was, -wtf!? why is that bi-ch still here!?- anime had a good story line & was paced well, unlike some other stuff out there -_________-” chrno was a sweetheart dammit V.V i personally don’t want azmaria to be the main in ne new flicks or oav’s that may come. she’s nice & all but damn her voice & sometimes her actions get to me.

I think that there should be a second season of cc because i think cc should end on a happy note insted of the main and my fav caracters end up dead. then again i cant stand reincarnations because its not exactly the same person but it is you know what i mean. I belive that Az should be the main character because of what she has accoplished and i think she might have a lot of hatred towards aion and that would make a cool second part to chrono crusade because i mean she is the only one left out of all of her freinds she has to be angry.

I know everyone’s going to want a second season, but likely, it won’t happen. An OVA, perhaps, but don’t count on it. Considering Chrno Crusade was released in 2004 in Japan and they STILL haven’t done anything, so it seems like a low chance.
Do yourself a favor- and read the manga, you won’t be disappointed. They go into full depth on Mary Magdelene, they view the villains as people too (they have their own good), and the ending…it’s better.
You cry, but it’ll be happy tears. Chrno and Rosette get “further” than they do in the anime. XD
i realli don´t want they die, i was i here trying to descovered the end of this, i never saw even one episode but i hear about it in a program and i investigate the history and now i know the end, it´s very sad even to me and i never see one episode but the history touch my heart and i want to tankyou for this becouse now i can die happy, now that i know the san end of Chrono Crusade
Jeez, the last episode was Pretty sad and beautiful but it breaks all the rules of the first part of the series (“A Demon! lets blow his head in funny ways, Ecchi and lots of explosions!”)
And what about the promise that rosette will take care of her (annoying)brother, and why the hell Aion doing alive?! it’s not fair.

Hello to everybody, i am a great fan of anime series but i felt really disappointed with Chrno Crusade final episode. I mean, Joshua never recognized Rosette, Aion survived after all the suffering and pain Rosette and Chrno passed. I think that the ending was really depressing and must left many people with an empty feeling, like something else must happend, this cant be a good ending. The principal characters are dead, so i think that like many animes Chrno Crusade looked really nice, but the ending of the series was really crappy. Bye Bye

Chrno and Rosette for me were two of the best main characters. Its not cool that they died but they died together. It would’ve been worse if one of them died and the other survived. The thought of reincarnation gets me kind of mad but it would be kind of cool seeing them back, hopefully the same way they were. that ending kind of got to me. It was realistic how it shows even the bravest have there fears. The final episode was really sad but what can you do. I wish they would’ve stayed alive a little longer and made the ending a little more content, but thats not what happend. Sad ending, good but very sad.
Hello to everyone, I just saw Chrno Crusade last episode yesterday, I’ve been reading all of your comments and I think most of us agree in something, it was very sad that Chrno and Rosette died, it was a very different ending compared to other anime series I’ve watched, I don’t know if you guys felt something when the final episode ended, I, personally kind of felt a void, something I could’nt describe, I still can’t figure why I feel this everytime I remember this episode, I guess it’s just sadness manifested in someway, I also think this ending gives us a feeling that something is incomplete, that part of Aion being alive, that’s bullshit, I agree with Suemitsu, if evil will always exist in this world, it is a fact that good will also be there to strike back. I also agree with Nyu it certainly was a crappy ending for a great, and I’ve seen many anime series, great anime.
P.D. There should be a second part in which everyone is brought back to life, I wanted to cry since the part when Steiner dies!!!(For those of you who do not know “Steiner” is Satella’s servant, Satella!!I also liked you very much!!!What a horrible and pointless death!!Oh!, and I also liked Count Deffaux very much!!He was so cool!!Why does everyone die???!!!

actually i see it hard to make a continuation for the serie, i think the manga ending is better, but it is sad anyways….. why Rosette died so young? and why they didnt spend their last days with their friends, enjoying every second of life they have and wait for death in a more relaxed way XD!!! anyway i alredy overcome this ending and feel better for chrono and rosette, at least they are in heaven, i hope…..
i hope that there will be a second season of chrono crusade because ireally really love it…. i hope that when there will be a second season of it… there will be a happy ending for chrono and rosette… that in the second season of it chrono and rosette will be again reincarnated and their memories for each other have been lost… and when fate comes they will remember that they’ve been loving each other at the very beginning …

Well, i watched a very intersting anime. starting with the first few episodes i find CC a combination of love, drama and some comedy….. not until the LAST EPISODES, i mean what the hell, what a SAD ending, there are alot of ways to show how the main characters will die in the last episodes but this one broke my heart during the scene with rosette and chrno… *sob* i cant get it off my damn head, ive seen alot of sad animes but this anime tops it off. i wish that a 2nd season will be released, though it will require a tremendous storyline and a very detailed explanation if they will use chrno again. well it is titled chrno crusade. oh how i just wish that the ending was a happy one, i mean they love each other so much… i just cant…. ahhhh damn. i feel so sad…. *sob*

Well, I just watched one episode and watched the very end of the last episode – it was so sad. I’m serious, I was crying and everytime I see the video clip where they’re watching the sunset, I cry again… this is a really depressing ending. I don’t like it Dx
I liked Chrono Crusade a lot but wow you people cried?Wow I’m shocked at that,it pissed me off more than anything (No kiss?thats bullshit).Well i hope they do make a New season but from the looks of it,i doubt it.All the ingredients but no chef i guess.Wow i saw this like a year ago and I’m posting about this now hehe funny.
OMG!! I sooOo love Chrno Crusade. The sad part is that the guys are hot! Whatching them fight each other is too depressing. Well, as for the ending, *cough* i do have to agree with you all. It was sad, yet beautiful. However, I got pissed off because Rosette and Chrno died in the end. Like many people, I wasn’t able to sleep for days because I hated the ending, BUT what can i say, not al story can have a happy ending. HEY! look on the bright side! At least they died together! It’ll be even more sad if they didn’t or if one of them is still alive. Anywase, GOSH!! I soo not like Azumaria! If there is a 2nd series wit her as the heroin, I will be pissed off as hell not to mention I wouldn’t wanna watch it.
hihi every1! seriously i skipped over half the episodes but whatever… its the ending that actually counts, rite? i cried a total of 10 times while watching the whole thing… and i guess u could say the anime was really depressing and sad, but it was still great! !

(and of course u could say i love every other anime that i ACTUALLY WATCH, but whatever. i cannot believe that CHRONO DIED. its IMPOSSIBLE! i am a total chrono fan and i think hes cute, no duhhhhhhh. i need to have a second season of chronos crusade. i NEED A SECOND SEASON SOOO BAD! and i also found it sad that Sister Kate, Remington and Azamaria couldnt c rosette and chronos till they died…. thats when they finaly found where they were… *sob* its 2 sad for words but my problem is WHY COULDNT ROSETTE AND CHRONOS HAVE LEFT A MESSAGE, OR MADE A PHONE CALL TO SISTER KATE AND THE OTHERS? THEY WERE SO WORRIED AND THAT WAS THE LEAST THEY COULD DO!

IT DIDNT AFFECT THE SITAUTION AT ALL! i mean remington in the end turns into some kind of devi, or somehting… and there was no point in the end cause Aion doesnt die anyway… (or does he? whatever)
another thing that gets me mad is that although i know rosette and chronos love each other alot, they never say it actually IN WORDS! i wish i could have heard at least one of them say “i love u” to the other! they show small actions of “love” toward each other but i needed to see a bit more… oh well, i love chronos crusade and it was really great! lolz!

I’m glad you liked the ending – I thought it was really great too. Very sad, but appropriate. This is one of my favorite series!
I thought it was a good ending. I mean at least they can spend eternity together in heaven. And even if you do not believe in heaven, you can’t deny that there is one in the show. Better ending than Fate/Stay Night at least.
As for a second season..kinda hard when the main protagonist..you know, die.

Well I was really dessapointed by the ending…Altho I feel sorta satisfied that when they died the pose they were in…They died together practically in each others arms..And they were smiling..Altho if they have a sequel they should have something like..Azamaria decides to start the clock so Chrno is reborn and he begins to find a way to revive Rossete..Or smething along those lines..It would be soooo awsome if they would..
I finished the anime yesturday (April 20, 07) And omg i was crying all day that day..It was sooo sad to think about them..Especially when i saw them dead..The way they were together and died together. Made me remember what Chrno said “I don’t plan to go on living after you die. When my die my life will also cease to excist” And it really did happened that way..!! Omg even right now whenever i think of it. It brings tears to my eyes. Also how we saw Rossetes grave but why wasn’t Chrnos grave beside hers?! It’s sooooo depressing and unfaire..I want a second season or something..T_T
This ending has got to be the saddest one ever, and I’m saying that even after watching 1 litre of tears! I LOVE CHRNO CRUSADE, SUCH AN AWESOME ANIME^^! I was wondering about Chrno’s grave too but I remember that near the end of the episode it said on Rosette’s grave ‘Chrno, dearest friend and something-something’ so maybe he was buried with Rosette?

Sama mówiła że niedługo umrze a jeszcze wyczerpały ją stygmaty a najbardziej ten ostatni… Chrno również powiedział że umrze razem z nią. Zakończenie sami możemy sobie dopisać według własnego uznania. Ja to widzę bardzo pozytywnie, i mama nadzieje że i wy znajdziecie je. sajonara:D
hi guys….am i too late for the submission of the comments…???? well anyway i still can’t overcome the grief, loneliness, and aching in my heart though it seemed that years have passed away since the last full episode-show of this anime…..i can relate to the story….coz i don’t know…maybe somewhat i felt that i am like chrono and rosette too….after all hardships and trials they encountered still they experience a somewhat happy and a little bit sad ending….but yes actually i’m dearly hoping hat there will be a sequel and like the others i don want azmaria to be the center of the story hence rosette and chrono should reincarnate or shall i say go here from heaven….after all…rosette is magnificently inevitable….as well as chrono of course….well after all, i’m glad to know that i’m not the only one who provide ample time to give comment to such episodes though the fact remains that i can’t really understand some language being used….jejejeje GOOD DAY EVERYONE…..

they should totaly make a secuil, (forgive my spelling) but i think Azmaria should toughten up and be the main cherictor. she would make a good sister and she has the drive to kill Aion. they shoutd not fo the life of them reencarnate rosette ans chrono, that is such a played out thing in anime. i think Joshua should get him emorie abck and him and Azmaria should team up. thaat would add the background gref but at the same time Azmaria and him could have fun. i think they shouold just be firends but sence in anime thier has to be someoine in love, that would be cool to. and sister kate could get the thing out of her butt and help them more because thier both ‘human’

at least they died holding hands…. and as for the thing about Aion… he is an immortal born from desire.. meaning he is something like a shell or a shadow of his formal self… i mean he was a demon and demons never actually totally die if you want to look at it historically… at any rate i don’t really think its likely he packs the punch he once did.. i mean he is sorta a ghost after all.

I also think Dashed (While fitting for as short a life as Rosette was allowed) is something else, perhaps danced. xD Reminder of the picture of the group, and where Chrno and Rosette get in a foot-stomping war and end up actually dancing. lol (True, foot-stomping dance, but still.)
I had just finished the anime about 10 minutes ago and it left me crying like a waterfall… I cried so much when Rosette said that she was afraid of dying and Chrono didn’t know what to do T_T It’s true that the ending seemed kinda broad because another person with a stigmata appeared but I do feel like the writer wouldn’t make any new characters for a sequel because we all loved Chrono+Rosette and Satella and her butler. But I really do want the series to continue even though it finished years ago just like everyone else does =/ I wonder if there’s a way that we can convince the writer to continue the story without going against his will.
Although, we all know that there is a slim chance of the series continuing into 2nd season. It can still happen if someone creates the plot and such. In other words, become a manga artist.
Ah, this brings back memories. Damned if I didn’t cry my eyes out when Rosette passed away… Very well done.
