With the Chunin exam and Konoha invasion ending, the next anime chapter of Naruto finally begins! Konoha currently finds itself in the rebuilding process, and the advisors of Konoha have begun investigation of the invasion, and the choosing of the 5th Hokage leads us back to Jiraiya, who is up to his old peeping antics again. The advisors attempt to bestow the title of 5th Hokage onto Jiraiya, but Jiraiya turns down their offer. However, he make a counter-offer to search for another suitable person to be the next Hokage, and he requests for one person to help him on the job (and we all know who that is :-p).
Meanwhile, the two mysterious characters finally reveal themselves, but was it really ever a mystery who one of them was :-p? Itachi, the famous (or infamous, depending on how you look at him) brother of Sasuke, returns back to Konoha for reasons yet to be revealed. The other character accompanying Itachi is Kisame (or as I like to call him “Sharkface” :-p), another runaway ninja from the Mist country. Kakashi somehow sensed both of them in the village, and he teams up with Asuma and Kurenai in attempts to stop whatever they’re scheming. However, Asuma and Kurenai quickly find that they might have met their match as both of them prove to be very tough to take down.
Overall, this episode was a good way to open up the new plots for the upcoming episodes, as viewers got some good developed storylines and action to see. Itachi is a stunning image of Sasuke, except much taller and seemingly more intimidating with what seems like an always-on Sharingan. The drawings and animations also seemed to be more fluid and colorful this time around for whatever reason, but hopefully this’ll continue for the rest of the series. Kakashi vs Itachi should be a great match up for next week (although it might turn out to be lopsided from what’s been presented so far).

Yea, what were thy talking about. What does he mean by offering to Obito and then the 2 Akatsuki members changed their facial expression. Could this mean that Obito is still alive and joined Akatsuki under the name Tobi? Why does Itachi have one arm in his cloak like Auron in ff10 does and why does Auron have it like that too neither of their arms are broken.
