Chrno Crusade has been solidly chugging along, and we finally get to witness what a demon-vs-demon skirmish looks like. Everything gets off to a bad start, however, as Rosette displays stigmata on her body, and Aion’s headquarters (which the Magdala San Francisco branch and the Deufo-led demons are planning to ambush) seems deserted. Needless to say, the power of the demons is overwhelming, and for the most part the Magdala militia are just in the way. Poor cute Karubu loses his life protecting those three dopey friends of Rosette, but he takes down Bit with him. Jenai is pissed and has no choice but to retreat back to Aion’s real headquarters. Meanwhile, Aion is gearing up for something big involving Joshua. They’ve got him with angel wings, and all dressed up in a suit, so my prediction is that Aion will unleash a plague of fangirls on the unsuspecting earth.
