Picking up right where the last episode left off, Yumi now has to deal with the consequences of turning down Sachiko’s offer. Side effects include unintended celebrity status and becoming Sachiko’s new “target”. Sachiko was supposed to play the part of Cinderella opposite the boy’s academy president in the upcoming school play “Cinderella,” but she really doesn’t want the part. Thus, the council members bet that if she can make Yumi change her mind about being her souer, she won’t have to do it – Yumi will have to take her place instead! In the meantime, both have to attend rehearsals, and here we learn more about the various council members, including the kindly protoge Shimako, the top dog Youko (Rosa Chinensis), and the most popular character, Sei (Rosa Gigantea). One of the peculiarities I noticed was that Yumi is given to SD-style expression once in awhile, in contrast to the overly serious and melodramatic feel of the series.
