Ever since Papa slapped her, Jiyuu hasn’t been acting like herself. She seems to have some sort of memory loss, and continues to sing a song from Totoro. Mikage finally finds her way out of the forest and tells everyone that it is her job to prepare Jiyuu for a showdown of some sort. She enlists “Mick” to take care of Papa, but Sai proves to be more than a match for the loud, chainsaw-riding ninja. Meanwhile, Felicia harasses the pathetic Siberian Yagyuu.
Although this episode wasn’t terribly exciting, it does seem to be setting us up for something big in the next few episodes. If Jiyuu only knew the underhanded catty stuff that Felicia was doing behind her back, we’d actually get a fight that wasn’t so one-sided. I wonder if Jiyuu will have to break off Ayunosuke’s hands to get to the lovely eyepatch… hmmmmm.
