This time we get another return to seriousness, as Mare encounters the ghost of a lonely child in a deserted village. The ghostly girl tries to keep the sisters with her by putting them all to sleep, and in doing so reveals their deepest wishes! Mii obviously wants to be a magical girl, and Ai wishes that she could cook well enough to make Mii and Mai love her food. Mai, however, has a deep desire to be carted away by a charming prince, while Unagi desires a candy house that she can stuff herself on. Interesting…
Episode 4 was a bit spooky at first, but more melancholy towards the end. It also shed some light on Mare and how lonely the sisters must be. Additionally, a strange mark on Mare’s chest was revealed (well, among other things on Mare’s chest that were revealed)!
