I finally got my new computer, so I’m back posting. My first order of business was to watch more of the Lovely Eyepatch. The more I see of this series, the more I like it. Probably my favorite series of 2004 thus far. With that said, it seems that this series draws a lot on the first season (which I have not watched). Those bizarre monkey boys constantly refer to what happened in the first series. Both episodes featured a lot of action, and a lot of plot development.

I discovered, in these episodes, that it is “Felicia” and not “Freasha”. There is heavy Engrish, as well as what I will refer to as “Kollean” and “Lussian”. Thankfully, it turns out that Felicia is purposely making that awful voice, and that she can talk quite normally. The buildup of these episodes really has me wondering about the true nature of the Lovely Eyepatch. I think I prefer the art style when they are not fighting, but regardless, this series has a very high production quality. I’m not sure why the Siberian Yagyuu are featured in the title, considering how weak and pathetic they are. Most of them aren’t even named, and one is even referred to as Siberian Yagyuu AA. Also, (for those that care) episode 3 featured some kawarimi. Sooya!
