It looked as if Ed was gonna give up on the Philosopher’s Stone after reading the ingredients required to make it, but with the convincing of Al and others, he trudges on thinking there’s likely one more secret that Dr. Marco has hidden elsewhere. He and Al visit this one building looking for answers (and as we can see, Ed’s smallness comes to his advantage in being able to sneak through the air vents, and Al can only wait outside and sulk in being too large ). Ed encounters many amusing traps, but he manages to work past them, and he meets up with the mysterious Number 48 in a battle to the death!!!
